Cozy Coffee & Brunch Spots in Pensacola I'm Already Obsessed With ☕️🤍

Hi friends! If there's one thing I've learned since moving to Pensacola, it's that I will always find the good coffee. ☕️ Exploring a new city is one of my favorite parts of starting over, and we've been doing it one weekend at a time, usually with a latte in hand.

We're still new here, so think of this as my growing list of favorites. I'll keep updating it as we find more. 🌴

☕️ Maker's Cafe & Espresso

📍 422 S. Palafox St., Downtown Pensacola, FL 32502 · Closed Sundays

This one has a cozy atmosphere, delicious lattes, and really good food. It's the kind of spot that's perfect for a slow morning or a coffee date. We had lattes, the coffee cake, and the egg bites, and the coffee cake was my favorite. We'll definitely be back. ✨

🥞 Bodacious (Downtown)

📍 407 S. Palafox St., Downtown Pensacola, FL 32502 · (850) 433-6505

We switched up our plans one Saturday morning and ended up here, and I'm so glad we did. A good latte, a breakfast sandwich, and a little wandering around downtown is pretty much my ideal Saturday. I had the Julia Child sandwich and Matt had the Bodacious Breakfast Burrito, and both were so good!

🍳 The Ruby Slipper

📍 509 S. Palafox St., Downtown Pensacola, FL 32502

Brunch after Palafox Market is now a tradition I fully support. We wandered the market first, then headed to The Ruby Slipper, and it was so good. There was a wait, so plan accordingly. I had the homemade biscuit breakfast sandwich, and the biscuit was buttery and fluffy and worth every bite.

🍽 Bistrology

📍 21 W. Romana St., Downtown Pensacola, FL 32502 · (850) 757-7376

This is one of the newer spots we've found, and it's already on our list to revisit. Order the pancakes. They're fluffy and golden and honestly worth the trip on their own. I'd also recommend the ham and cheese croissant, which is buttery, flaky, and perfectly savory.

🌈 Bear Fruit Bowls

📍 At the base of the Pensacola Beach Pier, Pensacola Beach, FL

I had the mini bear bowl with an açaí base, Nutella, banana, nuts, and granola. Then we walked the Pensacola Beach Pier, watching the dolphins swim by. Still can't believe this gets to be our life. 🐬☀️

My Tips for a Pensacola Coffee & Brunch Morning

  • Start at Palafox Market on a Saturday, then brunch downtown.

  • Save the beach or Pier walk for after your açaí bowl. 🌊

  • Parking: Arrive before 9 a.m. to snag a spot near Palafox. Street parking fills up fast on market Saturdays, so a downtown garage is the easy backup.

  • Timing: Put your name in for brunch before you browse the market, since there can be a wait.

  • Combo tip: Park once downtown, walk the market, brunch, then drive to the Pier after the crowds thin out.

Your Turn!

Next week I'm heading out on an easy Gulf Coast day trip, so stay tuned!
