Owned by Liz Fiedler, a nurse practitioner turned farmer, the farm was founded in 2020 on a century-old family property in memory of Mary Fiedler—hence the name Sunny Mary Meadow. From the roadside stand offering flowers, eggs, and canned goods to today’s growing success, the story is one of perseverance, community, and creative evolution.

🌺 You‑Pick Flower Experience

One of the standout offerings is the You‑Pick Flower Sessions. Wander through blooming fields and build your own bouquet using provided cups and scissors. Most visitors spend about an hour selecting seasonal blooms. It’s a peaceful, hands-on way to connect with the land and create something beautiful to take home.

The Story Behind the Blooms

Liz and her husband Josh purchased the century-old farm in 2016 with plans to someday cultivate crops or run a stand. Starting in 2020, inspired by loss and community support, Liz launched the farm’s first roadside stand, donating one bouquet for every bouquet sold to local nursing homes—over 200 in the first year  .

When Josh unexpectedly passed away later that year, Liz continued the venture while pregnant, acknowledging it as their shared dream. Her resilience and the local backing helped transform the fledgling stand into the vibrant farm it is now  .

“Life is about the experiences along the way and the people with whom we share a path,” Liz shares—and it shows in every bouquet and event on the farm  .
