Here’s exactly how we spent our day in Grand Teton National Park:

Sunrise at Schwabacher Landing

There is no better way to start your day in the Tetons than at Schwabacher Landing.

If you’ve ever seen those iconic reflection photos of the Teton Range mirrored perfectly in calm water… this is the spot.

We arrived around sunrise and the lighting was absolutely unreal. The mountains slowly started glowing as the sun came up behind them, and the reflections in the water made it feel almost surreal.

The walk here is short and easy, making it one of the best sunrise locations in the park.

✨ Tip: Arrive early. Parking fills up quickly, especially during summer and fall.

Early Morning at Mormon Row

Next, head over to Mormon Row — one of the most photographed locations in Wyoming.

This historic area features old barns and homesteads with the Teton mountains towering behind them. It honestly feels like stepping into a postcard.

The famous Moulton Barn is the highlight here and is absolutely worth seeing in person.

This stop is especially beautiful in the morning light and is one of the best photography locations in Grand Teton National Park.

Scenic Drive Through Grand Teton National Park

After exploring Mormon Row, spend some time enjoying the scenic drive through the park.

One of the best things about Grand Teton National Park is that the views are nonstop. Almost every pullout feels worthy of stopping for a photo.

Lunch at Jackson Lake Lodge

After a busy morning exploring the park, stop for lunch at Jackson Lake Lodge.

This lodge is famous for its massive windows overlooking the Tetons and honestly has one of the best dining views in the entire park.

Even if you’re not staying here, it’s absolutely worth visiting.

The atmosphere feels cozy, rustic, and classic Wyoming while still offering upscale dining and breathtaking scenery.

Things to love about Jackson Lake Lodge:

• Incredible panoramic mountain views

• Great lunch stop inside the park

• Beautiful lodge atmosphere

• Outdoor seating areas

• Wildlife sightings nearby

We highly recommend taking some time to walk around the property after lunch because the views are incredible from almost every angle.

Afternoon Stop: Oxbow Bend

Oxbow Bend is another must-see stop in Grand Teton National Park.

This scenic overlook is known for:

It’s one of the best places in the park to spot wildlife and photographers line up here hoping to capture moose, bears, and birds.

Next, drive up Signal Mountain for one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Grand Teton National Park.
