Families can still enjoy the orchards and pumpkin patch, but parents love the chance to sip on locally made cider while the kids pick pumpkins. It’s a little more laid-back and less crowded than some of the bigger orchards.

🐾 Tips for a Perfect Fall Orchard or Pumpkin Patch Visit

  • Bring Cash: Some small orchards and farms don’t take cards.

  • Check Pet Policies: Many orchards are pet-friendly, but not all. Always bring a leash and waste bags if you’re bringing your dog.

  • Go Early: Weekends can get crowded—early mornings or weekdays are best.

  • Dress for the Weather: Layers, boots, and maybe a cozy plaid scarf for those Instagram-worthy photos.

🍂 Minnesota is full of fall charm, and nothing captures it better than a day spent wandering apple orchards and pumpkin patches. Whether you’re sipping cider, picking pumpkins, or letting your kids (and pets) run free in the crisp autumn air, these spots are sure to become your new seasonal traditions.
